The Day Before Tomorrow

Loads of jobs are still going on in parallel, including more work being done up in the CCAS tower.

A pair of microscope objectives has been added to a barrel in front of the alignment telescope's camera to magnify the image we get back.

& a wobble in the Rho stage was investigated with a flat mirror fitted to a plate on the floor of the non-rotating structure.  These data are to be compared with similar measurements made with the target attached to the Rho ring.

A set of dial gauges was also set up between the fixed and moving parts of the Rho stage to characterise their relative movement.

The tracker's Y-axis cable wrap had to be moved out of the way to make space for some of the gear associated with the SAC lift - which is now on for Tomorrow!
